Fall Sports Women's Volleyball The women accumulated a 20-8 record en route to their ninth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance. In the first round, however, the Broncos suffered a loss to the Missouri Tigers, whom they had defeated earlier in the season.

11th annual TiSCys honor top Bronco athletic performances

For the last 11 years, The Santa Clara has honored the top Bronco athletes and teams with the TiSCy awards. This year's selection process was particularly difficult, with many outstanding candidates in each category. In addition to stellar individual performances, the combined effort of all the athletics programs this year led to a West Coast Conference Commissioner's Cup win. My colleagues and I have selected the best efforts in a strong year for Bronco sports. So without further ado, I give you the 2006-07 TiSCy awards.

After cheering at over 350 Santa Clara athletic contests for the past four years, I know that what I will miss most is the camaraderie and passion found among Bronco fans and student-athletes alike.
Santa Clara wins Commissioner's Cup

With a single swing of the bat, Santa Clara secured the West Coast Conference Commissioner's Cup for the second time in three years, narrowly beating out Pepperdine University.
